Tiara Opal ships quickly and securely to most addresses within Australia and worldwide. Our delivery service is provided via Australia Post within Australia and international Air Mail postal services globally, including Royal Mail and Parcel force (UK) and USPS (USA).
All parcels, domestic and international, are insured free of charge through Australia Post against theft, loss or damage during transit. This insurance is not applicable to parcels once they have been delivered.
Shipping Options
Free Standard Shipping: Orders over US $130 qualify for free worldwide standard shipping.
Free Express Shipping: Orders over US $1000 qualify for free worldwide express shipping.
Standard Shipping Fees: Orders under AUD $200 incur a shipping fee of AUD $15 within Australia and US $20 internationally.
Express Shipping Fees: Orders under AUD $200 incur a shipping fee of AUD $20 within Australia and US $40 internationally.
Orders between AUD $200 and $1500 incur a shipping fee of AUD $20 within Australia and US $40 internationally.
Any shipping costs will be applied at checkout depending on delivery address entered.

Tiara Opal aims to pack and ship your order the same day it is placed. Orders received after noon AEST may ship the following business day.

Peak Shipping Times and Delays
Australia Post delivery estimates do not account for any unforeseen customs processing times or transit delays, including during peak gifting times such as the Christmas season. Please allow extra time for shipping during these busy gifting periods. While Tiara Opal strives to dispatch orders promptly, we cannot control delivery times once the parcel is shipped.
Order Tracking
Upon dispatch, customers receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Package tracking can be checked on the Australia Post website or through your country’s postal service for detailed local delivery updates.
For example, for USA deliveries, please check the USPS postal service tracking page, and for the UK please check the Royal Mail postal service tracking page. Oftentimes, your country’s postal service tracking page can display more up-to-date, on the ground delivery information.
Please ensure you regularly check your tracking number and any email/SMS delivery notifications regularly for updates, as Black Star Opal does not do this on your behalf.
If you have not received a shipping email, please check your junk folder in the first instance and, if you still cannot locate it, contact us and we will resend it to you.
International Taxes and Import Duties
For orders shipped outside of Australia, import taxes and duties may apply. These fees are determined by your country’s customs regulations and are not covered by Tiara Opal.
Any import taxes and duties must be paid directly to your local customs or postal agency, who will make contact once your package arrives in the destination country. Your parcel may be held by customs until these fees are settled. Tiara Opal does not have any control over import fees or payments, nor any customs delays associated with late or non-payment of importation fees.
Contact your local customs agency before completing your purchase to understand applicable charges.
Do International Customers Pay Australian GST?
Outside Australia: No. The 10% Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax) is not applied to exported goods. The tax will be automatically deducted at checkout when a non-Australian delivery address is entered.
Within Australia: GST applies to all domestic orders and is included in the product price.
Delayed Or Lost Parcels
If your package is delayed or appears lost, follow these steps:
Contact Your Local Post Office: Provide your tracking number to check if the package is being held.
Contact Your Country’s Postal Service: They can often help with additional information, locate your package or resolve local transit or customs issues.
Contact Tiara Opal: If unresolved, Tiara Opal will initiate an inquiry with Australia Post. Please note – Australia Post requires a 28 business day waiting period to investigate missing parcels, and a 45 business day waiting period for any parcels missing during the customs process.
Packages are scanned multiple times during shipment, which updates the tracking journey information. At peak shipping times, scanning can be missed and a package may appear to not be moving but is actually in transit to you.
Refunds for parcels that are lost or stolen during transit will only be processed after Australia Post confirms the parcel’s status as missing. Black Star Opal cannot issue refunds for items in transit or prior to the conclusion of Australia Post’s investigation.
Please Note: Tiara Opal is not liable for any misplacement, loss or theft of your package once the Australia Post has confirmed delivery. Our insurance does not cover lost or stolen packages after delivery, and we are unable to offer refunds or replacements in such cases. If your package is missing after being marked as delivered, please contact your local postal service for assistance.
Damage During Shipping
If your item arrives damaged, contact Tiara Opal immediately to arrange a resolution. Packages damaged after delivery are not covered by international shipping insurance.
Order Modifications
If you need to modify your order, email
tiaraopalsandgems@hotmail.com as soon as possible with your name, order number, and details of the change. If the order has not yet shipped, adjustments may be possible. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded while in transit.
